BLOODHOUND Engineering Adventure events announced

The BLOODHOUND Engineering Adventure will have a presence at the following events:

 

The Big Bang - Manchester Central - 11-13 March 2010

The Big Bang is a fun filled exploration of science! From gadgets to goo, farming to fashion, space to surgery! The Big Bang Fair has got it all covered with, BLOODHOUND featuring as one of the highlight  exhibitions. Along with the Full scale Show car, students will be able to partake in numerous activities such as interactive demonstrations of the car and website. Workshops delivered by Science Made Simple and a chance to build and race their very own BLOODHOUND balloon car!

On the 11th and 12th of March the 6000 school children will be unleashed at Manchester Central and the 13th its families turn to enjoy the festivities.

Easter Thunderball - Santa Pod Raceway, Northamptonshire - 2-5 April 2010  

4 days of car and bike national championship drag racing.The most action packed motorsport weekend this Easter. Great fun and value for the whole family. The Easter Thunderball opens the 2010 Drag Racing season and with the Drag Racing comes a whole host of exciting attractions - including BLOODHOUND SSC!  Andy Green will be there on Saturday afternoon and Richard Noble will be there on Sunday too.

IMechE/ICE/IET/IChemE Glasgow Area JOINT INSTITUTION PRESTIGE LECTURE - Glasgow Caledonian University - 22 April 2010

John Piper will be talking about BLOODHOUND SSC, including a general overview of the aims of the project, and the story of the design so far with some great visuals on the stress analysis work carried out by Arup.

Truck Fest Peterborough - East of England Showground  - 2-3 May (Bank Holiday weekend)

Since the first Truckfest in 1983, the event has become well known for providing an action packed and varied day out for the whole family, regardless of if you are directly involved in the road haulage industry. BLOODHOUND SSC sponsors Graham and Julie Lockwood will be taking the show car on the back of their truck!
